Welcome Bookworms! I'm so glad you stopped by to check out my website as I continue to add new and exciting things for you all to see! If you've been following my author page on social media, you may have seen that I FINALLY finished my manuscript for Under The Scars and all I can say to myself is... It's about damn time! This book has taken literally everything from me, and I am so in love with these characters, their life, relationship and heartbreaking moments, I just CAN'T WAIT to share it with you!
For those of you who don't know, I've been on and off writing this exact story for the past four years. I started writing this book when I was still in school (literally during class!) and didn't have as much drive in me to keep going as life got busy.
Just as I was doing NaNo WriMo (National Novel Writing Month) back in November of 2018, I started getting my author profile and editors and cover designer all lined up, and thus began the full force of my book pushing to becoming more complete than when I started four years ago.
I honestly couldn't have done it without the support from my friends and family of course, but I sure can't wait to release this baby to the world! I'll let you in on a bit of it by saying that this is definitely more of an emotional novel than it is of a sexual story. Of course I let you in on some aspects of their physical connection, but this story is more about healing after you've already lost so much in your life. It's about learning to move on even when you feel stuck in your life. It's about learning to heal your own wounds... even if it seems like one of the hardest things to do.
